Job Applications
Job applications are the core of Nico. Each one represents a position you’re interested in or actively pursuing.Creating an application
Paste a URL (recommended)
The fastest way to add an application is to paste the job posting URL. Click New Application — you’ll get a single URL field. Nico fetches the page, detects the ATS (Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever, Workday, Personio, Oracle Recruiting, and dozens more), and pre-fills every field it can extract:- Job title and company
- Location and work mode
- Salary range, currency, and pay period
- Employment type
- Posted date and full job description
From Job Search
If you found the posting via Job Search, you can add it as an application directly from the job detail page — no copy-paste needed. The same parser output that powers Job Search is reused, so creation is instant.Fill in manually
If you don’t have a URL (or parsing didn’t pick up what you needed), click Create without URL on the New Application screen for the full manual form:| Field | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Job title | Yes | The position title (e.g., “Software Engineer”) |
| Company | Yes | Select existing or create a new company |
| Job URL | No | Link to the job posting |
| Location | No | Where the job is based |
| Work mode | No | Remote, hybrid, or on-site |
| Salary range | No | Minimum and maximum salary |
| Currency | No | Salary currency (e.g., USD, EUR) |
| Pay period | No | Annual, monthly, hourly |
| Employment type | No | Full-time, part-time, contract, internship, temporary |
