My Data
Nico lets you view all the personal data stored in your account and permanently delete your account if you choose to leave.
Accessing My Data
Click your profile icon in the top right corner and select My Data.
Viewing your data
The My Data page lets you see everything Nico stores about you in one place.
-
Click View My Data
-
Your data is displayed in JSON format, including:
- Account — your account name and creation date
- User — your email, name, timezone, language, and creation date
- Companies — all companies you’ve added, along with their job applications
-
Click Download JSON to save a copy to your computer as a
my-data.json file
Use the data export to keep a personal backup of your job search history, or to migrate your data to another tool.
Importing your data
The My Data page is also where you bring existing job applications into Nico. Click Import to upload a CSV of applications you track elsewhere — see Importing Job Applications for the file format and how your history feeds your statistics.
Deleting your account
If you no longer need Nico, you can permanently delete your account and all associated data.
- On the My Data page, click Delete Account
- Read the warnings carefully — deletion is irreversible
- Type your email address to confirm
- Click Confirm Delete
Account deletion is permanent. The following will be removed and cannot be recovered:
- Your user profile and login credentials
- All accounts you own, including their companies, job applications, interviews, and notes
- Your memberships on other accounts (as a commenter)
After deletion, you will be signed out immediately and will no longer be able to log in with your previous credentials.
