# Statistics

Nico's statistics page gives you an overview of your job search progress and helps you identify patterns.

## Dashboard metrics

The statistics page shows:

* **Status counts** — How many applications are in each status category
* **Application funnel** — Where your applications typically advance to before ending
* **Activity over time** — Your application activity trends

## Furthest status analysis

Using the [furthest status tracking](/using-nico/statuses-and-transitions#furthest-status-tracking), you can see where applications tend to stall. For example:

* Many applications stuck at `applied` → You might need to improve your resume or targeting
* Drop-off at `phone_screen` → Consider practicing phone interview skills
* Strong conversion from `interviewing` to `offer` → Your interview skills are solid

## Using statistics effectively

Check your statistics regularly to:

* **Spot bottlenecks** in your application process
* **Measure improvement** as you refine your approach
* **Stay motivated** by seeing your total activity and progress
