# Creating Your Account

> Sign up for Nico with email or Google

# Creating Your Account

You can create a Nico account using your email address or your Google account.

## Sign up with email

1. Go to the [registration page](https://app.nico-jobagent.com/register)
2. Enter your **name**, **email address**, and **password**
3. Select your preferred **language** (English, Spanish, or Dutch)
4. Click **Sign Up**
5. Check your email for a **confirmation link** and click it to activate your account

  You must confirm your email address before you can sign in. Check your spam folder if you don't see the confirmation email.

## Sign up with Google

1. Go to the [login page](https://app.nico-jobagent.com/login)
2. Click **Sign in with Google**
3. Select your Google account and grant access
4. Your account is created automatically — no email confirmation needed

Your name, email, and profile photo are imported from your Google account.

## After signing up

Once your account is active:

* Set your **timezone** in [Profile Settings](/account/profile-settings) so interview times display correctly
* Consider enabling [two-factor authentication](/account/security) for extra security
* Start [adding job applications](/getting-started/adding-your-first-application)
