# Authentication

> Signing in with email or Google, and resetting your password

# Authentication

Nico supports two authentication methods: email/password and Google sign-in.

## Email and password

### Signing in

1. Go to the [login page](https://app.nico-jobagent.com/login)
2. Enter your email and password
3. Click **Sign In**

If you have [two-factor authentication](/account/security) enabled, you'll be prompted for your verification code after entering your password.

### Password reset

If you've forgotten your password:

1. Click **Forgot password?** on the login page
2. Enter your email address
3. Check your email for a reset link
4. Click the link and set a new password

The reset link expires after a set time. If it's expired, request a new one.

## Google sign-in

Click **Sign in with Google** on the login page and select your Google account. If you previously registered with the same email address, your accounts are automatically linked.

## Session management

Your session stays active until you explicitly sign out. Click your profile icon and select **Sign Out** to end your session.
